Data Recovery From Packard Bell PCs

PACKARD BELL PC:

I need some help with a Packard Bell PC which is relatively new. It was bought two months ago, but yesterday it started putting up a black computer screen while I was working on some documents. I had to reboot it back into the operating system, but whenever I try to open a document, or one of the web browsers, I get this black screen, and have to restart. I can’t move any of my data due to this problem. I can go into the computer folders and see the files, but as soon as I click on one it goes into this black screen, and the hard drive starts whirring really loudly. I have been trying to recover the information from the drive myself through data recovery programs, but they have not really helped much, and I have not been able to extract my files so far.

PACKARD BELL PC:

I have an older Packard Bell PC which is giving me a little bit of trouble when I try to recover it to a previous point. I have not been able to do updates on my drivers for a while, and there have been other problems such as slow running, and so I decided that I would restore it to a point in the past few months which would allow me to preserve most of my software. The only problem is that if I do the restore, I will lose quite a lot of data which is not backed up and is not available to me on other systems. I need to be able to collect this data before I run the restore program, but the problem is that one of the drivers which needs to be updated is the USB port. I have tried passing the information over through a cable to an external drive, but this has not worked, and I can’t pass much information through email, as it tends to become corrupt.
